Disclaimer
This tracker is provided free of charge as a personal record-keeping tool only. The list of 214 fells, their heights and book groupings follow Alfred Wainwright's Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells and are provided for general interest; heights are rounded and approximate.
Listing a fell here is not a recommendation that it is safe or suitable for you to climb, and says nothing about the difficulty, exposure, conditions or navigation involved in reaching any summit. Many Lakeland fells involve steep, rocky or exposed ground and serious mountain conditions. You are responsible for assessing each route, the weather and your own fitness and experience before setting out.
Your progress is stored only in your own browser on your own device. Clearing your browser data, switching browser or device, or using private/incognito mode will lose it. We cannot recover lost progress.

How It Works
What are the Wainwrights?
The 214 Lakeland fells described by Alfred Wainwright in his seven hand-drawn Pictorial Guides (1955–1966). Climbing all 214 summits is a much-loved long-term challenge known as "bagging the Wainwrights".
Is my progress saved?
Yes — every fell you tick is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It's still there next time you visit in the same browser. Nothing is sent to our servers. Clearing browser data or switching device will lose it, so it's a personal record rather than a backed-up account.
What's a good first Wainwright?
Latrigg above Keswick and Catbells above Derwentwater are firm favourites for a first fell — modest in height with huge views. Scafell Pike (978m) is the highest and the biggest day out.
Can I add it to my home screen?
Yes — use your browser's "Add to Home Screen" option and it opens like an app, with your progress kept on your device and working offline once loaded.
