CartmelThe relaxing town of Cartmel, located in the Morecambe Bay area, is a superb place to getaway to, with stunning sorroundings and a gentle atmosphere. A large variety of shops pus and restaurants border the village square.

The main attraction of the village is the nearby racecource, which hosts steeplechase meetings twice a year, particularly after Easter. Got a sweet tooth? Cartmel is thought of as the home of the sticky toffee pudding and there are plenty of places to get your teeth into the classic! Another main area of the village is the 12th Century Priory, offering stained glass windows and ancient stalls.

If you decide to explore the local areas, Morecambe Bay and Furness Peninsula are just a short trip away.
