ButtermereWithin the picture perfect Borrowdale valley sits Buttermere, along with its long-held reputation for being one of the most peaceful, tranquil and visually stunning areas in the whole of England. The mountains that tower around Buttermere offer a stunning backdrop and once climbed provide some breathtaking views.

If you're looking to explore some stunning lakes, Buttermere is perfectly located in between Eponymous Lake and Crummack water. Lake Buttermere is also a must see for any lake fans. Whilst being one of the smallest in the region, it still boasts some spectacular scenery that is essential to view if you're in the area. To the north lies the Robinson - Hindscarth ridge, with Fleetwood Pike situated south east of the lake and the High Stile ridge to south.

The village itself offers agricultural geography, with farms and stone houses. Along with the village itself are plenty of fells and mountains to explore, with stunning backdrops and brilliant walks.
