It also boasts one of Englands most scenic rivers, the River Duddon.

The picturesque town was made famous by William Wordsworth, and now boasts plenty of local activities and a warm welcome for it's visitors. Local produce and real ales flourish in the local country pubs, whilst also offering a large variety of accomodation

If you enjoy bike riding, you can hire Cycles, giving you the opportunity to explore the town and beyond. Everything from Sandy Beaches to majestic sights are available, along with long walks for those who wish to enjoy the scenery on foot.
