Hands on Bike Maintenance Workshop Day

This course is limited to 8 persons and you will be working on bike stands with comprehensive took kits to hand there's no better way to learn unravel and understand quickly how a bike works than an intense period of hands on bike maintenance. Some spares will be available or can be ordered throughout the day if regular stock but to be sure of availability you may be best to bring your own on the day .The courses explain how thing work why they sometimes go wrong and how to fix them. We keep things simple friendly and jargon-free.These days are ideal for beginners with little or no mechanical knowledge but even people with experience of cycle maintenance will pick up a few pearls of wisdom.Our courses will show you how to set a bike up for maximum comfort how to cope with a puncture how to keep your brakes in good condition and your gears changing properly replace cables look after chains and general upkeep of your bike. Plus a chance to tackle any job under the watchful eye of your instructor.The workshop will give you the chance to work on your own bike with a expert on hand. Specificfitting etc of your bike parts may also be possible .

On the C2C Cycle route 200 yds north of Greystoke village green direction Blencowe. We welcome all cyclists and walkers and ask all those with cars to walk the 350yds from the village car park around the Greystoke Castle walls.
We can offer parking in our driveway to cycle support vehicles and those attending our workshop days

NotesThe Cycle Cafe is a family-run tea garden with unusual opening times. Fri 12.00 to 18.00. Sat 10.00 to 18.00 and the second Sun of the month 10.00 to 18.00. We will serve any cyclists at other times with whatever we have if of course we are about and available. Seasonal opening only Apr to end Sep.
